My main inspiration has always been libraries, then museums, and in general places that are compendiums of accessible knowledge.
I’m interested in early print and cartographic culture, particularly the Northern Renaissance and the baroque Netherlands. Scientific documents are fascinating. I also seem to be attracted to death and corporeal disturbance. I read a lot about monsters and cryptoids as a child.
